Founder and creative visionary, Peggy Shevlin has been producing events for more than 25 years. She began her career in the Los Angeles area working for the Marriott Corporation as a Banquet Manager. In this capacity, she was responsible for a multi-million dollar budget and more than 1000 events to include large scale corporate functions, galas and private weddings. Peggy was also chosen to be part of a select group of Marriot employees that traveled throughout Southern California to train new event staff and help create best practices for catering departments in Beverly Hills, Palm Desert, San Diego and Los Angeles. After a career of corporate events, Peggy realized that she was most inspired by the weddings and private functions and in 1999, decided to leave the corporate world and start her own events company. Peggy Shevlin Events, is a culmination of all her years of experience and is a passion driven labor of love.
